• The Phase 1 construction kick-off meeting was held at the Civic Centre on July 7, 2026.
• The contractor is currently:
  • refining its detailed schedule,
  • preparing submissions of shop drawings and material lists in advance of ordering construction materials,
  • arranging for various utility clearance locates, and
  • conducting pre-construction surveys.
• Initial construction notice has been issued to residents in the area.
• Town staff are preparing to launch an 'open for business' marketing and promotional campaign.
