Preliminary site investigations for the Willow Beach Park Revitalization project will begin in May 2026, with land surveying beginning the week of May 11. This work will support the detailed design and environmental assessment phases of the project. The full range of activities will include land surveying, traffic studies, arborist assessments, utility locates and geotechnical investigation work.

Advance notice letters will be delivered to nearby residents prior to any borehole drilling associated with the geotechnical work.

Fieldwork will occur intermittently from May through June 2026. All activities will take place on weekdays during regular business hours.

Visitors may experience some noise and temporary, localized disruptions within the park and parking lots while contractors are on-site. There will be no impacts to visitors on weekends or evenings.

This work represents an important step in advancing the project from concept planning into detailed design, as endorsed through the Waterfront Parks Master Plan.
