The Design-Build Request for Proposal for the engineering design and construction closed in May 2026. The Town has reviewed the received submissions and selected the preferred contractor. The following briefly describes the current status and next steps of the project:

Current status:

• UrbanLink Civil Ltd. and Garrett Fleming have been selected as the preferred design-build team to replace the Old Shiloh Road Bridge.
• Field investigations are ongoing. There may be various workers in the bridge area.

Next steps:

• Design of the Old Shiloh bridge replacement to continue with a planned completion of January 2027.
• The main bridge works, including road closure, are expected approximately February 2027.
• Some minor construction may occur in 2026 such as tree removals and sediment controls.
• The full road closure is expected to start approximately February 2027, and reopen approximately November 2027.
