The Lake Drive multi-use pathway (MUP) is returning for its second year of implementation along Lake Drive in 2026. The following briefly describes key aspects of what to expect:

Current status

• The MUP will be implemented during the week of May 25, 2026, and removed during the week of Sept. 28, 2026.
• The MUP will be in the same location as last year being Civic Centre Road to South Drive.
• Implementation will start at South Drive and take approximately three days to be fully implemented.
• A new modular traffic island will replace the temporary curbs at the South Drive and Lake Drive intersection.

Next steps

• Communication to residents and users will be sent out in April and May in advance of the MUP.
